Can you turn a normal cell phone into a prepaid without a contract?
I have a LG vx6100 that i wanna make into a prepaid cell phone. I know there is a version of that phone that is already a prepaid phone but im sure mine isn’t. How do i go about making it prepaid so i can use a prepaid calling card and no contracts?
Im sure it would be just fine, but I think phones are carrier specific..
I have seen that phone offered for Alltel and Verizon and had not truthlfully noticed any others because of my residence,,
The plan you get too may not be one you are thinking of… If you have Alltel- go with Alltel U

I just purchased a few phones and was able to get them activated with the same carrier which was my intention.. and I paid a lot less then what I would have had i bought new – these phones didnt even have One hour -lol
