Verizon enV?
I just got the Verizon enV. This is my first “next gen” cell phone. All the reviews for it talk about “bluetooth” etc, do I need this? I definitely want a wireless handsfree to go along with this phone. Is there something specific I should buy, for this specific phone? Or should I just buy a wireless headset ‘off the shelf’.
If you want a wireless hands free device you do need Bluetooth. You don’t need any specific one for your phone any bluetooth headsets works with any bluetooth phone. Don’t buy the least expensive one no matter where you go – I promise you’ll hate it. Take the sales persons recommendation. Try them on in the store if you can. The biggest difference in headsets is the way they feel on your ear. Since this is your first one also ask the sales rep to show you how to pair the headset to your phone.
Personally I recommend Jabra for a nice headset or LG (your phone is LG – some people think having same manufacturers is nice) You can also read reviews on the different headsets at places like Phonescoop.com.
