Is buying a cell phone off ebay a wise idea?
I want to purchase the Lg lotus off of ebay. I have never purchased anything from ebay. I hear about scams all the time and have had a friend scammed a few times with the purchase of a cell phone. Is buying a cell phone off ebay a wise idea? If you dont think it is then where else could i look for the phone at a good price?
(I want it brand new, never used, and locked for sprint use)
Things to look for:
*cost of postage
*is the phone unlocked?
*buy from your own country…not overseas
*Make sure the phone isn’t owned by a service provider (ex: Vodafone, etc)
*see what it comes with: in the orginal box with all the cables, etc
*look for money return if it is broken, etc
*look for warrenty
*read the seller’s feedback
*email the seller and ask questions, see how long it takes for him to reply…that is if he replys at all
*make sure you pay with PayPal, so you can claim the money bakc if something happens.
