CELL PHONE QUESTION….?
My daughter joined the military almost two years ago and I purchased a cell phone so that I would never miss one of her precious calls. I rarely use the phone (but for her, my son, and my husband). I personally am not a phone person.
That said, for the past month I have been receiving text messages from Wal-Mart stating that I have suchNsuch balance on a card. I DO NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE GIFT CARD and yet one time it said it had $6.07 on one and the past 4 or 5 texts state I have almost $31.00 available.
When I purchase a gift card I generally do so through cash. So I KNOW this is probably spam. Is anyone else getting these texts? How can I make them STOP? I contacted AT&T and the rep obviously didn’t do anything because they are still happening every day around 9:30AM. Today’s text was number 34 that I have received from them.

Is there a number that the texts are comming from?
Even if its not a full 10 digit cell number, you can google the number that keeps sending you texts. This has happened to me, and once you google the number, there are websites (forums) with people complaining of the same issues from the same number getting the same texts as you are. You can read the actions they they have taken to try and rectify the situation. Many times they have solutions as well.
