Help, my ATT cell phone type Internet card is a piece of shit.?
I 10.5 have a new macbook you and I have had this really unreliable and malfunctioning cell ATT wireless internet card called 811 USB by Sierra ... and it always shuts off, you have terrible service IN LOS ANGELES and I want to know what my rights are ... if there are other non-usb internet cell phone cards available .. or any other info. thanks. Macs do not have that wireless card slot thingie that PC's do but is there an ethernet cord plug type cell modem?
I am having the same problem with my Sierra Wireless USB 881. It's now stopped working I called Att manufacture warranty department and they told me the warranty was voided Because with my usb wireless card it was getting really hot i did not know if this was normal but you can now see the black mark on the symbol in att Because of this front and they voided the warranty. I am going to call my self Sierra Wireless and raise hell. I will speak to their president if i have to. I know this is not much help but before the burn mark start appearing take it to the store where you bought it and ask for something different. I guess the old saying is true "you get what you pay for".
