Laptop batterie?
Does leaving your laptop batterie plugged in ruin it? I’ve had mine a little over a year now and 90% of the time it is plugged in and charging. My boyfriend said it was fine to just leave it in when I got it. But I recently got a new cell phone and one of the first things the sales person said to me was not to leave it charging overnight because over charging kills the batterie. Could this possibly be true of laptop batteries as well?
I also never turn my laptop off. Don’t know if that makes a diffrence
It is true that overcharging any battery can cause damaging effects, however, if you really think about it, its not meant OR built to last. When the person who sold you the cell phone said the battery shouldn’t be overcharged, did he ever say, that before your battery starts not functioning correctly, your cell phone will probaby be obsolete?
It’s true, unless you do get a lemon of a battery, the lifespan of the phone was only meant to last a year or two. In fact this deals with any technology. They are not built to last.
