What kind of adapter/voltage transformer do I need in India?
My husband and I are traveling to India for a few months soon. We will be staying at a four star hotel in Delhi. However I’m a little confused about what kind of adapter and converter/transformer we need. Some websites measure by voltage, others by watts… does that make a difference?
We will be taking both our laptops, wii (i’ll be in the hotel most the time), flat iron, electric razor, cell phone chargers, camera chargers, etc.
The hotel also experiences frequent brown-outs, so should we consider purchasing a surge protector as well?
Where should we purchase reliable and safe adapters and converters?
If your devices are rated for 120 v ac then you need adaptor/ transformer which converts 120 v to 220v. You can get them in any good electrical /electronic shop.
