GPS tracking on cell phones?
I am being stalked. My stalker purchased our phones on a couples’ plans. He is harassing me by text message and the lawyer has asked me to save all of these messages – so I need the info on the phone and cannot return it.
I keep the power off at all times, except to check messages.Is there any way he can use some sort of GPS tracking system to locate me using my cell phone. What kind of info could he get? i.e. the city, street, building, etc?
I know cell phones can be tracked, but I don’t know if he has the ability himself to track you.
Turning off a phone will not prevent the phone from being tracked, you must remove to battery from the phone to prevent it from being tracked.
