How do I get photos off of an old cell phone?
Hello,
I have photos on an old cell phone that I need to get access to. I do not have the batteries, so how do I do this? Thanks!
If you don’t have the battery for the phone, then that does pose a slight problem since you do need to power it up regardless.There are a few ways that you could get the photos off but it helps to know what kind of phone you have.
If it has a USB port of some kind, you can find a cable to connect it to your computer and move the files that way. If it does not have a USB port, it might have an SD slot. You’d need to find the appropriate sized card and move the files to it.
Another way involves Bluetooth, if your phone is capable of connecting to other devices instead of just headsets, you could wirelessly transfer the photos to a computer or some other machine as long as it supports Bluetooth.
If your phone has internet capabilities, you could take a tedious route and email the photos to yourself one by one, or upload them to a website to retrieve later.
