cell phone with no plans
Any advice on cell phone plans in Madison for 500-1000 min.? Or voice+data plans? Or phones? Thanks!?
Moving to Madison and my contracts up with Verizon. In my ideal world, I’d also like to be able to put a sim card in when I travel in UK/Europe for calling and internet. I mostly would use phone in upper midwest to call all over US, but I use the phone a lot while travelling, so the roam charges can’t be too high (or no roaming).
I use my phone for calling and the occasional text; I don’t need it to play music or take pictures. Pretty basic, although I do need speakerphone and bluetooth!
I’m also thinking about a Blackberry or some kind of phone that would allow for wireless sync with Outlook calendar and push email (I hate the login in process).
Appreciate any advice that someone who understands this process/system/phones better than me can give!
I live & travel in between UK & Midwestern US. I have BB Pearl through AT&T. It works great in both countries.
However, I keep the same SIM so, I get charged high fees in UK. But you can get a UK sim card to use in UK. Just make sure to get your unlock code from your current carrier, so when you switch SIM cards, they both work with your phone.
