If you order a cell phone off the verizon wireless website, will it arrive unlocked or actived?
I have been waiting for an upgrade because my phone sucks, but my plan doesn’t allow me to get a new phone will next June (2010). However, my mom, who is satisfied with the phone she has now, is eligible for an upgrade. If i get a new phone on behalf of my mother’s number off the verizon wireless website, can i activate it with my line/number? I don’t want to buy an unlocked phone because they are too expensive compared to the discounted price when you are eligible for an upgrade. Please let me know if I can do this. Thanks!
PS- My mom and I share the same family plan
