How to receive a free or discounted cell phone without signing a new contract?
I am currently an ATT customer with 2 lines on family plan one of which is set to expire in August and one in December of this year. I tried wirefly but they told me that ATT did not approve me for the new phones. What are my other options if I dont want to wait another 4 months?
Unfortunately, your options are limited. Since you’re in a contract with AT&T, they have no motivation to give you a phone unless you sign another contract for a few years.
Your best bet may be to get a used phone on eBay or something like that. You’ll want to talk to AT&T to find out what their policies are on programming used phones to work with their system, and you’ll need to make sure the phone is supported and able to be programmed before you buy it.
