Has anybody used the cell phone company called Consumer Cellular?
It’s says on their web site: free phone, no contracts and different plans to fit individual needs and is less expensive. They are also rated A+ with the BBB.
The problem with Consumer Cellular is that they charge you an $35 activation fee, and their cheapest plan is $10 a month (no minutes included) plus 25 cents a minute. No minute carry over.
Virgin Mobile charges no activation fee, cheapest plan is $20 every 3 months which includes 400 minutes. Additional minutes are 20 cents. Minutes carry over month to month.
