Unlocking cell phones from their service?
How do you unlock a motorola phone from cingular. We live over seas and it would be great if we could use our old phone.
You can download software that will do this for you. The software i use is called ‘mototools 6′, and can be found on the web. You do not need a usb lead, just the 15 digit imei number, as the software will geenrate what is called a ‘subsidy password’ which when inputted into the phone will unlock it. Hope tthis helps you out.
