How to get out of my (Cell Phone) contract without having to pay alot of money?
I have the katana 2 from sprint and i just got that phone in september 07 . But I want to get the LG rumor from sprint with the keyboard. but everyone is saying if you get it you’ll break your contract and pay full price for the phone. what does that mean?, is there anyone that I can get the phone in which I want without being put through all that?, P.S I have a family plan and the deal is buy one and get a second for free, dont know if that would help but it’s possible, thanks for anyone’s help who responds.
What that means is that you do not qualify for an upgrade right now. You have a couple of options. One, you buy the phone out right. This will not affect your contract but you will pay about $279.99. Second, you could cancel your line ($200) and then active a new line with a Rumor ($29.99). (Couldn’t keep the same number though) Third, you could try to find a New Rumor on eBay for a little cheaper than the retail price. But you will end up spending a little bit of money in any situation. Hope this helps!
