PLEASE HELP

my parents bought a LG gas oven from home depot a few weeks back and it leaked ALOT when it was turned on and would not heat up when started at all. a week later (today) the replacement arrives from LG and it was “tested” at the store and was reported as “working great.” i went to turn it on today and within a few seconds smelled a pretty strong scent of gas. just wondering if it is just what these ovens do or if something is wrong with the replacement?

we had both the ovens installed for us by the deliverers

also: LG makes garbage (IMO) we also bought a microwave with the oven and turns out we have to replace that because there is burn holes on the inside of the microwave. i also had a crappy cell phone from LG too..
