Teenager who wears out cell phones? Really.?
My 17 yo texts. A lot. She averages more than 10,000 texts per month. Which I am fine with, since she has straight A’s and I am happy with everyone she is texting.
The problem is that she wears out cell phones. Not just the batteries, but the phones. She got a Rumor LG in April. Its on its way now to LG for a replacement (since its under warranty). But this is her 7th phone in 4 years. Yes, she does drop them, but that’s not it. When I take them in for repairs, they laugh because they cannot beleive how much use her phone goes through. Besides the service plan (which we have) are there any phones that are for this type of use and won’t fall apart after a few months?

For the blackberry suggestions, its a great idea. That’s I went to the Rumor. Its the one with the “slideout” keyboard. Are crackberry’s more durable?
I had the same problem…but now my blackberry and I have been together for almost a year and I am soo happy!! Plus it has a great camera for picture messaging!!
