how do you upgrade phones for verizon at home?
i want to upgrade my cell from a razr to an lg dare, but i dont get the upgrade from verizon for another year. If i want to buy a dare from verizon now, it would be atleast $450. i went on ebay and craigslist and found brand new phones for $250. can i just buy that and take the battery or whatever it is from the back of the razr and put it in the dare?? please help thanks
If you were on AT&T or T-Mobile you could (just pop out the SIM card and put it in your new phone) 
But to answer your question, yes you can still buy any of those phones just make sure they are CDMA (Verizon) network compatible!
But instead of swapping out the SIM card you have to call Verizon (from a landline, or other phone) or bring them both into a Verizon store, and they’ll take care of it for you.
