the upgrade of cell phones…..?
my LG chocolate VX8550 cell phone has been having PROBLEMSS:
**turns off
**doesnt always ring
**i dont always recieve incoming calls
**the touch keypad doesnt lock, therefore while i was inside abercrombie and fitch, not touching my phone (in my purse) starstruck started playing
TRIED:
taking out the battery. doesnt work, so:
talking to the verizon reps. they said i need a new phone. but: my friend has gone through 4 chocolates. so, i dont know if i want that phone.
i got my phone in june 2008.
currently its january 2009.
i had a 1 year plan.
can i get a whole new phone completely other than an LG chocolate??
before my plan is up?
if so how much does it cost extra?

THIS WAS THE SAME THING THAT HAPPENED TO MY CHOCOLATE. I called them a few days ago, i have already sent in three or four chocolates back. So i called them complaining that the phone is a piece of junk and that there’s obviously something wrong with all of the phones. So they pushed my upgrade up to the day i called, so i can now get a new phone with the discount whenever (My upgrade date was originally December 2009) So basically call verizon, complain about the phone, be firm about getting a new model, don’t give up, they should give in about moving your upgrade up.
