Which is the best “Pay As You Go” cell phone and service on the market at this time?
My two-year cell phone contract is up this month and I am seriously thinking of just getting basic wireless service. My kids are grown and live out of state, so other than speaking with them, I use my cell phone very little and I rarely make local calls.
My needs are as follows:
.Service provided on the Georgia/Florida border
.Long Distance at the best rate
.Voice Mail
.Pay as you go, I DO NOT wish to contract myself for another 2 years as I may be moving out of state soon.
.Style is not an object as my cell spends 95% of its time in my purse.
.I do not require fancy ringtones, MP3, camera,etc..
I would greatly appreciate any ideas or experience anyone would like to share…

Tracphone is the best over all. But you do know that you can still keep the service you have without renewing your contract. It would be on a month to month basics once the contract ends. That way it would give you time to look around and find the best deal.
