Is my cell phone charger using a lot of electricity?
My room mates have been getting at me for charging my cell phone all night when that’s the only time I ever charge it. They say that my cell phone charger uses just as much, maybe even more, than their portable room heater that they plug in. How can I find out if this is true or not?
If it helps, the input is 100-240 VAC; 50-60 Hz; 0.15A. The output is 5.0V_ _ _ 0.7 A.
Your room mates are escapees from the Villages that are looking for their Idiots. Cellphone chargers use approximately 2 cents for month of electricity. Roomer heaters use 15-20 amps, cell charger is .7, that’s Point 7. Notifiy their Villages to pick up their JackA$$es. LOL
