How do I purchase a cell phone without having to commit to a contract?
Hello,
right now I want to buy a Samsung Blackjack, a Palm Treo, or an EnV.
They all come with a 2 year contract. IS there any way around this problem? Is there a place I can buy them as prepaid or as I go?

Some places are also introducing a pay-as-you-go plan. It’s either Verizon or Sprint, I forgot. Your best bet is to go to the dealer and ask them if they have that type of plan.
