Searching For New Cellular Service …..?

I’m looking for a new cell phone (it can be a monthly or prepaid service … )

I’m trying to ease the cost of service by only using minutes for actual calls instead of paying a huge fee for unlimited everything which I really don’t use.

I hear positives and negatives about Cricket and Metro PCs and I absolutely hate Sprint which I have now.

I’ve looked at Trac Phone and I’m told that Wal Mart even has a new service for around $45.

There is a phone (refurbished) at Big Lots (formerly Pic N Save/Newberrys) that has a LG phone for $30 which gives 300 minutes which is doubled to 600 if you get a code online.

Any thoughts on who I can research for a good deal?

Thanks and thumbs up to all who answer … just give me time to get back and read the answers.

I have Sprint, and I agree with you on that one. The plan isn’t too bad, but I drop service one mile from my home. It’s crazy.

There are a lot of budget programs out there, I’m not aware of the competitiveness of all of them. I did hear that Boost Mobile was a good one for a non-contract, but you still have a flat rate of $50 per month.

I see the T-Mobile has a plan for 30 minutes per month for $10 like the Trac Phone.
There’s also the Go Phone, pay as you go. You can pay only for the days you use the phone:

Right now I’d say the Big Lots LG sounds pretty good.

I found this link for reviews on the cheapest cell phone plans.
