Lost my cell, no insurance, can I buy one on Ebay for my current Cingular plan?
I have no SIM card as I totally lost the old phone. Do I just buy an “unlockled” phone on Ebay? There are no upgrades available for this phone through Cingular and I dont want to pay alot for a new phone through Cingular. I already reported my cell as lost with Cingular and suspended the service. Can someone walk me through the steps on how to get a new or refurbished cheap phone on Ebay and then how to activate it?

you can buy a phone on ebay or from someone then go to the cingular store and you will have to pay for a new sim card but they should then resume your service and you’ll be good to go
