I got a samsung cell phone and on the main screen it has the letter “e” and then it has a bow. I’m not sure of the model, but does anyone know what this means?
If you have at&t the “E” means that you’re running on EDGE, which is an over the air internet connection that your phone receives from the towers. EDGE is a medium data speed somewhere between dial up and DSL. All the icon is is a simple indication that should you decide to access the internet, you will be able to access the EDGE network.
