yes, u can call anyone on verizon for free. not text though.
i’ve dropped mine at least a dozen times. not only that but i dropped it on the concrete in the pouring down rain, the battery and all came out. it sat there for like 5 minutes, in the rain, before i realized it, and it still works. my friend dropped hers in the toilet and it still works too.
so i’d say it stands up pretty good to drops and water.
