What kind of Fabric should you buy for a Quilt?
OK well i am 14 and i am a beginner sewer.. I really love it! I have singer simple and it cost me 100.00! So Since i payed that much for it I want to be able to do more then just pillows 
and cell phone holders and tissue holders. I have been googleing so much. But I just need help with this! My mom and grandmother do not no really anything about sewing. I just have this big dream of making a quilt.. how hard would it be what should i do any advice if i do ok on it they = christmas gifts lol SO WHAT KIND OF FABRIC TO I USE FOR A QUILT ?? Good for you – when someone who does not sew asks you to sew something for them, be sure to charge a large fee!
You can make a quilt from anything you please. The fabrics should be universal in weight. For example, denim and nylon would not be a good match, but doable if you apply interfacing the the thinner fabric.

I never say never – if the piece is too small, it stitch it to another. Too thin, beef it up. Stretchy – add iron-on interfacing. Icky color – put with several other weird colors and it will “disapear” into the crowd (other blocks)….this sometimes turns out to be the best looking quilt of all!
