Switching cell phone carriers, keep same phone?
I have a Samsung phone with T-Mobile, and my contract’s expired, and I want to switch my service to AT&T. I want to keep my cell phone however, because it’s a new model, and it’s no longer available (and it was only available with T-Mobile anyways).
Anyways, my question here is regarding the graphics. Currently, when my phone powers on, it shows the T-Mobile jingle. And when I access mobile Internet, it’s through T-Zones, with the T-Zones logo.
Say I switch to AT&T (or any carrier, really, doesn’t matter), I get my phone unlocked and install the new SIM card. Will I still see the same T-Mobile/T-Zones logo? Is there some way to change it to AT&T or whoever? Or am I stuck with T-Mobile logos forever with this phone?
that won’t be possible because certain phones are set up to work with there network. Unfortunaley you will have to get a new phone and sign a new contract…
