Need help finding a cell phone w/PDA type capabilities but not necessarily email/data capable.?
I’m tryiing to find a phone that will can double as an organizer/address book/calendar. I don’t necessarily need mobile email access however. I’ve looked at Blackberry, but they seem too pricey and appear to be best for email/web browsing. I have a Palm PDA device, without a phone. I know Palm makes phones, but I don’t know how good they are. Any suggestions?
I have been using a Palm Treo 650 PDA phone for a year now and I love it very much. I also had a PDA oranganizer without the phone capabilities for 4 to 5 years prior to the Palm Treo. I had bought quite a bit of 3rd party software from the www.handango.com website for the organizer and wanted to use the same software on my phone so I stayed with the palm operating system rather than the mobile windows operating system. I have heard that the palm operating system is a lot more user friendly and would suggest the palm operating system rather than the mobile windows. You might want to take a look at the www.palmone.com website to find your hardware. But anyways you better make your own decision yet and good luck!!
