What are the cell phone companies in Canada that offer no-contract & unlimited calls within Canada?
Hi there, I will be visiting Canada soon and looking for cell phone provider companies that offer no-contract service. In addition are there any companies that offer unlimited calls within Canada too? Like MetroPCS and Cricket in United States? Please help. I will be on a tight budget and will be staying there for a month or two. By tight budget I mean, I do not want to pay 15 cents a minute or so as I am a non-working student. tyvm for your time.
I’m on Virgin Mobile, and I’ve never experienced a problem with it in nearly three years. It’s got a bunch of bundles (Unlimited texting, unlimited calling within Canada, etc.) and you can either get a contract or go on pay-as-you-go, which is what I’m on. It’s fairly cheap, yet extremely reliable.
I would very strongly adivce you (from past experience) to NOT get these:
Rogers
Koodo
Bell
Any other provider, I think you should be alright, but Virgin has been working wonders for me
