Unlocked Cell Phones? Cheap?
My Verizon Plan is up in 6 months, but i just completely drowned my phone. If i buy a new one now.. i have to pay a ton of money and my plan starts over. Anyone know a reliable site or place where i can get unlocked verizon cell phones for a decent cost?
First you don’t need an unlocked verizon phone, you just need a verizon phone! EBay will be the first place to check, other then that ask around to family and friends or even try your local freecycle (http://www.freecycle.org) to see if anyone has one that they want to give away, they are always giving them away here. You can also go to your local Wal-Mart and get a prepaid Verizon and call them up and say you have a new phone and give them the esn and it will turn contract. But that only hold a 50/50 chance, some of them are LOCKED for prepaid ONLY but there are still some that are not. I work for Wal-Mart and half my customers bring it back and say it didn’t work and the other half stop by and say thanks!! Also there is a 90 day return policy (with reciept and packaging, so KEEP EVERYTHING) if it doesn’t work. Double check the return policy, some Wal-Marts may be different.
