i am thinking f opening a cell phone accesorie store….can anyone tell me what are the most common cell phone…am about to order 500 chargers and i need to know what are the most popular phone at least the top 10 or so and the new phones
On the at&t side the Motorola boom is starting to die down now and the majority of phones being sold are Samsung and Nokia. These are the two brands that invest the most money in their products, thus they last the longest. Get chargers for the following models as they are selling incredibly well Samsung A707 (will be compatibly with D807 A437 and i607) and A737 (compatible with A747 and i617) and Nokia 6085, 2610, and N75. Be very careful with the Motorola issue, the RAZR is still a very common phone and you will need to stock the chargers for it, but Motorola is going out of business because their phones fail at such a high rate, so be prepared for them to drop off of the market. Sony Ericson’s 580i is also gaining popularity remarkably fast. Oh! mini-USB, definitely! mini-usb will cover blackberry chargers and most pocket pc’s. The LG shine is also gaining in popularity, but with LG’s high mark up and high rate of device failure, you will not see them nearly as often as other manufacturers.
