Ringtones for Phones

Every time my neighbor uses his remote for his Hi Definition TV my cell phone drops the calls if I am on the phone. I am also a Cricket user. I use a Motorola cell phone. Is there anything I can do to change my frequincy so this won’t be a problem?
I have called support for both Sony the maker of the Hi-Definition T.V. and also Motorola, and both have no answears and or suggestions on what I may do to stop this from happening. And yes, the T.V. is hooked up to Cable, and not an antana.
